Mark joins ADVNTR Media Group as Head of Brand Development after a successful tenure as Cycle Channel Manager at 2pure. Working with some of the industry’s most respected brands, such as POC, Feedback Sports, Unior, Scope, Body Glide, Knog and Ibis Cycles, has equipped him with extensive knowledge of the cycling and active lifestyle sector.
Mark contributes over 5 years of experience in brand management, marketing and sales strategy development to the team. His prior experience in specialist retail markets means he understands the unique challenges brands face in the current market place. He recognises the importance of effective brand communication and believes in turning products into experiences.
He is an avid endurance cyclist and fan of the great outdoors, a passion he shares with those in charge of him – his kids!
Andrew brings more than 15 years of technical expertise in building and maintaining websites, databases and IT infrastructures to his role as Head of Technical Design at ADVNTR Media Group. His work with clients such as BASF, Bayer, Emerson Electric and dCS has made him an expert at handling large scale projects and working to demanding deadlines.
Andrew is a results-driven problem solver, strong communicator and firm believer in a client-focused approach to project management.
Inspired by his work colleagues, he took up cycling in 2015, has since participated in several road cycling events and is now a keen explorer of his local gravel routes and outdoor events.
James Webber
As Head of Creative at ADVNTR Media Group, it is James who is responsible for bringing our clients visual needs and desires to life. James honed his creative design skills in Cambridge before joining Madison where he grew his field taking on the graphical design for key house-brands Saracen and Genesis. During his 5 years with the distributor, James created a successful rebrand for Adventure Bicycles before finally becoming Lead Designer for Ridgeback where he created the face of Ridgeback and Ridgeback Kids that you see today.
James also brought the mountain bike magazine Wideopenmag to life in print. He has since gone on to work outside of the bike industry for clients such as Papa John’s, The Open University and UCC Coffee. James contributes over 7 years of design experience straight out of university both as freelance and in-house design.
Always one for the outdoor lifestyle, James enjoys both mountain biking and road cycling, conquering both the mountainous terrain of Wales and completing the RideLondon100 sportive twice.
David Hicks
As Operations and Planning Manager at ADVNTR Media Group, it is David who is responsible for keeping us on track and organised. David spent nearly 10 years at the distribution business 2pure and honed his abilities in business operations and import requirements. Well respected by all he works with he is an even keel when things get choppy!
David lives in the prime outdoor territory of the Scottish Border and is often glimpsed smashing up and down valleys on his bike. Also an enthusiast of imported Japanese sports cars he enjoys a well made and operating machine!
